Fluid Comp Limited is based in Leeds, United Kingdom and provides CFD modelling consultancy and engineering analysis for a wide range of applications using commercial and open-source software. We have extensive experience in CFD modelling and equipment optimisation of spray drying towers, particle-laden flow in mills and cyclone separators, Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluid mixing characteristics in agitated vessels and compressible and incompressible internal and external flows.
Muzammil Ali (Director, Fluid Comp) has a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Leeds, UK. Muzammil worked on CFD modelling and optimisation of a counter-current spray drying tower during his PhD. Muzammil worked on numerous projects as a research fellow at the University of Leeds from 2014 to 2020. The research work was focused on the application of CFD models for single and multiphase fluid flows involving heat, mass and momentum transfer. Muzammil is currently also a visiting researcher at the University of Leeds.
